Irwin’s turtle was considered to are missing within the lessen Burdekin River, as it wasn't noticed for approximately twenty five years. It's thought the disappearance was due to ecological alterations, mostly enhanced turbidity, from the construction with the Burdekin Falls Dam in 1987.In August 1994, a historian from Mareeba, Ed Loveday, posted
